I had so much fun taking these. Isaiah and mom Ali are THE BEST...he was even a sport when I called him KJ (brother's name) almost every time. I actually have a few more photos from this session to edit, but these are the first up. Good luck this year, Isaiah! and Ali, I appreciate you! ps Isn't he handsome?!
the girls and I drove to Kansas last week to take senior photos of Isaiah (to follow--still editing). The 14 hour trip down went super well except for the hail storm and the last hour (Finn cried and cried). The drive back (another 14 hours) didn't go quite as well. We were all grouchy. The novelty of the road trip had worn off...and there was no hail to distract us. We did leave in a clean car (interior anyway) with clean car seats and clean sippy cups thanks to Becky. I love that woman. We stayed with her the whole time and she was a sweetheart about cleaning up after us and feeding us and then cleaning up after us some more. So, hopefully, these photos of Miss B will show you how much I appreciate all you did last weekend.
thank you, Becky and we love you,
the ceremony: Hussman building/Epic Railyard Center
Stephane Lemaire took our photos and as expected (and as always), he did an amazing job...that's why I don't mind giving up occasional Saturdays to shoot weddings next to him. Not only is he a great photographer, he's a great teacher and a sweetheart. Thank you so much Stephane for being you.
instead of disposable cups, we had Klean Kanteen Stainless Steel 10 oz. Pints with chalkboard stickers affixed so that guests could write their name and use the cup all night
That tie is a liberty of london tie, folks. I really love when the kids wear liberty and I never thought I'd get one of the boys in it, much less picky Auden. It really was my lucky day.
A few photos from my dad:

Happy Saturday! Love, sara
ps I've changed the link to the blog so if you've saved it and check it every once in awhile (even though I haven't blogged since November), you'll need to re-save it.
I tried to take photos of the big bad wolf and little red riding hood on Halloween, but by the time we got ready to trick or treat, the light was gone and Willa wasn't cooperating.
We're celebrating Thanksgiving in Priddy, and I brought the costumes along for a make-up shoot. It didn't go that well either. Even though I made certain the girls had naps before (we woke up late and were racing the sunset- again), they were still grouchy. So no smiles...but here they are!
Happy Thanksgiving! Love, Sara
p.s. Thank you Tanya for all your help (and especially for making that gorgeous red cape)!
This baby is the happiest baby ever (thank you, Jesus). She's four months now and rolling. She laughs, but not to tickles, which makes me wonder. ...Willa gives her zerberts on her tummy- she doesn't find it amusing, but doesn't seem to mind either (little Miss Mellow- for now...I've learned baby mellow doesn't predict a thing). That's about it, I guess. I wish I had more photos, but this is all I got in the time I had. I'll do it up big at six months :). Love, sara
Oh, and I think she looks a bit like sweet Auden (which means she looks like me--holding my breath)!
Willa digs wearing my giant J.Crew necklaces (hey, me too)....and about a month ago, I snapped her wearing the black necklace with this Liberty of London tunic. But it was with my phone camera and I wanted real camera photos of her. I planned to iron her dress and all, but I had the perfect opportunity to take them this morning while Finn was sleeping and there's no telling if I'd ever get the chance again. So. Here she is! Happy Memorial Day. Love, Sara
